Position: Head Coach, Debutante Instructor
Weapon Specialty: Epee

Marie began fencing at age 5 and trained in foil.  At age 12, she changed her focus to epee to capitalize on her athletic strengths. She fenced Cadet (age 17 and under) for France in National and International competitions. In 2012, she moved to the US with her husband, Cedric Loiseau (Notre Dame Associate Head Coach / Epee Coach) and their sons, Eliott and Oscar, who also fence epee.

Marie developed the Epee program over the past 4 years to full classes and private lesson schedule.  Students have many competitive peers to further develop their fencing and prepare them to travel to regional and national competitions. Her Epee students have earned top 8 results in national tournaments , North American Cups, and in 2020, 4 epee fencing students qualified for the Junior Olympics.

Fencing is Marie's passion, and she enjoys teaching youth and adult fencing students to train and develop as competitive fencers.
